Carolyn Jenkins Scholarship
In 1981, the last heir of the Kimball-Jenkins line, Carolyn Jenkins, left the Estate as a gift to the people of Concord. She left in trust the Kimball-Jenkins Estate with directions that it be used for cultural and educational purposes, including the “encouragement of art”. It is from Carolyn’s magnanimous gift of the Estate that the highly acclaimed “School of Art” at Kimball-Jenkins was born. In keeping with her wishes we are now a thriving visual arts school, the Kimball-Jenkins School of Art.
The Carolyn Jenkins Scholarship Fund was set up to assist budding artists with tuition. Scholarships are awarded by need, with preference being given to children.
