Express your creative side while having so much fun! In this lively, encouraging class, students will play a variety of theater and improv games that will introduce them to the fundamentals of acting. Creativity, imagination, voice, physical communication, confidence, problem-solving, and teamwork are just a few of the skills that will be developed. All levels of experience are welcome.
We will give a short and informal showcase to family members at the end of the last class.
About Jenny Foster
Jenny has been teaching dance and drama to children, teens, and adults for more than 20 years. Her training includes ballet, jazz, tap, ballroom, Irish step dance, acting, directing, puppetry, and improvisation. She studied and performed with ImprovBoston and with alumni of Second City in Chicago, and has directed and assisted with children's theater productions in Boston, New Hampshire, and New Brunswick, Canada. She loves working with children and encouraging them to share their creative expression with the world. She holds a M.Ed in Integrated Arts from Plymouth State University, a M.Div from Harvard Divinity School, and a BA in Anthropology from Cornell University.
