This class is intended for ages 16+

Beginners welcome – no printmaking experience required!

In this 5-week course, students will receive an introduction to the art of printmaking. We will look at prints in a variety of techniques and study how they were made. Today, there is a vast array of approaches to making prints, and the intent of this course is to help students discover which techniques might work to enhance their own approach to making art.

Students will learn about and experiment with non-toxic Akua Inks and their modifiers making monotypes and monoprints - unique prints - on Plexiglass plates.
