Beginners Welcome – no printmaking experience required

This class is intended for ages 16+

Collagraphs are an incredibly versatile and expressive medium. The collagraph technique championed and taught by printmaker Sarah Amos, will be employed to create multi-layered unique prints working with carborundum grits, glue, textured polymer and found materials to create plates that can be continuously altered. This is a non-toxic process employing etching inks, oil based paints, gouache and watercolor mediums. Participants will learn how to set the press, use proper registration, apply medium and print.
