Students will be encouraged to experiment and express their creativity, with the flexibility to craft unique pieces of their own design. Alongside personal exploration, we’ll delve into creating functional art, such as vases, cups, and bowls, balancing aesthetics with usability. We’ll also discuss and address aesthetic, technical, and conceptual challenges that arise in the creative process, fostering a deeper understanding of form and function.
Handbuilding is one of the oldest and most personal methods of working with clay, offering endless possibilities for expression. Whether you're making a sculptural piece or something functional for your home, come experience the joy of creating something entirely your own, one piece at a time. Join us for a journey through clay and discover how your hands can shape beautiful, meaningful art!
