Printmaking Studio

This class is intended for students ages 16+

Join us for an eco-friendly journey into the world of handmade papermaking! This 5-week course introduces beginners to the process of transforming recycled scraps into beautiful, unique paper sheets. Each week, students will learn the basics of preparing pulp, forming sheets, and experimenting with color, texture, and natural elements like flower petals and seeds.

By the final session, participants will have created a range of handmade papers suitable for writing, art, or crafting. Perfect for anyone looking to learn a sustainable craft, this course will leave students inspired and ready to continue papermaking at home.

Students are encouraged to bring paper scraps (newspaper, printer paper, old mail, old notebooks, cardboard scraps, colored papers) and other materials that could be used in the process such as: dried flower petals, leaves, special paper products like tickets, tags, or cards.
