This class is designed for students ages 10-12

In this class, you’ll get to make moving mechanical toys. You’ll use wood, tools, and other basic materials to make creations that move round and round, up and down, and back and forth. Making automata is a fun, hands-on STEAM activity for learning how simple machines work. 

Supplies: students need to bring their own child-sized safety glasses and work gloves that are easy for holding tools. You can also buy the glasses and gloves from Jennie for $10. Contact Jennie at jennie@hammersawdrill.com with any questions.
