Looking for a new, engaging activity? One that builds confidence, trust, and respect? Woodworking fosters independence and promotes cooperation, while being a fun, fulfilling, focused STEM activity.
In this class, we will review safety guidelines and tool tips, then make 5 projects. We only use hand tools– no power tools are needed! You'll learn all the basics to get started woodworking.
Featuring step-by-step projects and adaptable challenge levels, the Hammer Saw Drill curriculum is designed to make woodworking safe, accessible, and enjoyable for builders of a variety of ages and abilities.
In this class, you learn safety rules and woodworking skills and get familiar with each of the tools as you build small projects. The projects become more challenging in each lesson as you learn new techniques. This prepares you for other advanced project classes.
