This class is intended for Adults (16+).

Skills Learned - Pinch, slab, and coil building techniques. Students will explore sculptural and functional art creation and finish with glazing. 

Students will experience an exploration of ceramic art by practicing hand building techniques, such as pinching and coiling. They will have the liberty of making creative pieces, but also learn how to make 'functional art', such as vases, cups, and bowls. Aesthetic, technical, and conceptual problems will also be explored. Hand building is the oldest method of working with clay, come create something totally unique and beautiful with your own two hands! 

One 25 lb. bag of clay included along with glazing supplies and firing fees.
