This class is intended for ages 18+

The ancient art of tapestry weaving is enjoying a revival; capturing the attention of everyone from seasoned textiles artists to budding fiber enthusiasts. In this class you will learn the basics skills needed to create images with fiber on a simple tapestry loom. 

Over the course of 5-weeks, you will weave a tiny tapestry from start to finish and learn how prepare your loom for future projects.

Anyone interested in learning to weave tapestry is encouraged to enroll. If you’ve never touched a loom in your life, this class is for you. If you are an experienced handweaver, you will discover a new way to enjoy your loom.

Supplies:All supplies will be provided by the instructor, including a wooden tapestry loom and accessories (beater comb, shuttle stick, and tapestry needle), all of which students can keep.
